Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
RokkitPod respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the RokkitPod marketing website (rokkitpod.app and related pages) and, separately, when you use the RokkitPod desktop application during beta or after release.
1. Who we are
RokkitPod is a desktop tool for print-on-demand sellers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Gelato, Etsy, or other third-party platforms mentioned on this site.
2. Information we collect on the website
Waitlist sign-up. If you join the beta waitlist, we collect the information you submit, which may include:
- email address (required)
- print-on-demand platform you use (required), and if you select "Other," the platform name you provide
- where you sell (optional)
- approximate number of new products you publish per month (optional)
We use this information to contact you about RokkitPod beta access, early access, and related product updates, and to understand interest in the product. You do not need to create a website account to join the waitlist.
Technical data. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability.
Basic usage events. The website may record anonymous event names (such as whether the landing page was viewed or a waitlist submission succeeded or failed). These events are not linked to your email in our analytics logs and do not include advertising or third-party tracking pixels.
3. Information we collect in the desktop application
When you install and use RokkitPod, additional data may be processed depending on the features you use. This can include:
- credentials and tokens you choose to connect (for example Gelato API keys stored locally on your device, and Etsy-related tokens where applicable)
- product, template, and listing-related data you work with in the app
- usage events, feature usage, error reports, and identifiers needed to operate beta features such as usage limits or support
Your Gelato API key is intended to be stored locally on your computer, with encryption provided by Windows when available. Some data is processed or stored on RokkitPod's backend to support features such as Etsy integration, product tracking, usage limits, and error reporting. Artwork files may be uploaded to cloud storage (such as Supabase Storage) and made accessible to Gelato through URLs required for fulfillment workflows.
We do not require your Gelato or Etsy account passwords for the desktop app. Connections use APIs and authorization flows supported by those services.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- operate the website and waitlist
- communicate with you about beta access and product updates (with your consent where required)
- provide, maintain, and improve the RokkitPod desktop application
- diagnose errors and understand how features are used
- comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Service providers and sharing
We use infrastructure and service providers to run RokkitPod, including hosting and database services (such as Supabase). They process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or safety.
When you connect Gelato, Etsy, or other third-party services, their processing of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We only access those services when you authorize the connection in the application.
6. Storage and security
Waitlist data is stored in our database on Supabase. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Data retention
We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to manage beta invitations and communicate with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law.
Application-related data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service, enforce limits, resolve issues, and comply with legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to processing and to data portability.
To exercise these rights, or to ask us to remove your email from the waitlist, contact us using the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the website or application after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy where permitted by law.
